Beyoncé Orders €900′s Worth Of ‘Nandos’ Chicken After Dublin Show

Beyoncé has jetted all around the UK in recent weeks on her ‘Mrs Carter Show‘ world tour, and must have worked up quite an appetite in the process. The curvaceous singer, who is quite possibly pregnant with her second child, performed another sell-out show at the ‘02‘ in Dublin last night, and sent a member of her team out to collect some food.

Her team spent a staggering €875 on chicken from ‘Nandos‘- so much so, that it was most definitely for all her dancers, assistants, stage crew etc-I should think she had an assistant pick up the massive order from the Mary Street eatery. She ordered a combination of platters, and was given an-ooh, €12.75 discount- how generous! Of course, it is possible that it’s all a fake…but going by the date on the receipt and time of purchase (it coincides with the average finish time of concerts), I highly doubt it. The lady likes to eat! Hooray!

 

 

Beyoncé Admits To Lip-Syncing For Obama’s Inauguration Ceremony

Beyoncé is the last singer I can imagine to be crafty and lip-sync for a performance, but that’s exactly what she did last week for President Obama‘s inauguration ceremony. The world-class vocalist performed a rendition of the national anthem, and speculation as to whether it was totally live arose after she removed her ear piece.

At a New Orleans press conference for the US ‘Superbowl’ event (to be held on Sunday), she confessed to using the tactic: “I practice until my feet bleed and I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. Due to no proper sound check, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the president and the inauguration, and I wanted to make him and my country proud, so I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry. And I’m very proud of my performance. Any questions?”

She insists that her performance on Sunday will be completely live, as she will have had sufficient time to rehearse. I’m shocked Bey…

Celebs Unite For Anti-Gun Advert

Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyoncé Knowles, Reese Witherspoon, Ellen DeGeneres and Selena Gomez are just a few of the list of celebrities who have used their status for good by collaborating with ‘Demand A Plan.’

The bevy of famous faces are fronting a campaign to ban gun violence and to prevent people from being able to purchase guns. It come sin the wake of last week’s massacre at ‘Sandy Hooks Elementary School‘ in the town of Newton, Connecticut. Last Friday Adam Lanza shot dead 20 children and 6 adults before turning the gun on himself, killing not only teachers, but also a number of pupils.

In the short clip, they ask: “How many more… colleges, classrooms, movie theatres, houses of faith, shopping malls, street corners. Enough…. Demand a plan. Right now, as a mom, as a dad, as a friend, as a husband, as a wife, as an American, as a human being, for the children of ‘Sandy Hook‘ demand a plan. No more lists of names. It’s not too soon. Obama Gave Jay Z Parenting Tips

The US President Barrack Obama made an unlikely confession during an interview with Ohio radio station ‘Z1079‘ the other day…that he gave Jay Z parenting tips when they met up recently!

“I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyoncé out and not leaving it all with mum and the mother-in-law. I’ve gotten to know these guys over the last several years. They’re good people. They’re down to earth. Beyoncé could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. They really are down-to-earth folks. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends.”

Beyoncé Changes Blue’s Nappies!

Beyoncé has admitted to TV presenter Anderson Cooper that one of her current favourite tasks is changing her daughter Blue‘s nappies: “Actually, Jay is very good. We both change diapers. I love changing diapers, I love it. I love every moment of it, it’s so beautiful. I love it all.”

And the yummy mummy also enjoys singing her baby to sleep, and taking her to work: “I make up actually a lot of crazy, corny songs. I’m mummy and when Blue sees me, today was the first time she saw me perform in rehearsal, she was very confused.”

Last month Cher Lloyd looked mortified and momentarily left the stage after having a bottle full of piss chucked at her at ‘V Festival‘, but it seems as though she’s already put the experience behind her.

The gobby singer has told teen site ‘Sugarscape‘: “Just to step back for a minute and realise that there’s so many good things going on in my career at the moment. We’ve got everything in the US, we’ve got this fragrance in the UK. I mean, there shouldn’t be anything that’s going to get me down. At the time I was upset about it, but the amount of support that artists have shown me and it’s made me realise that it wasn’t personal, it was actually something that happens to all the artists. I heard it happened to Beyoncé. Now if that can happen to Beyoncé, I don’t know why it was a big deal about me.”

Rita Ora Wants Beyoncé’s Life!

She’s lit up the charts this year, and with just a few singles under her belt, Rita Ora says that she is already prepared for motherhood. She told tabloid ‘The Sun‘ that her new friend Beyoncé, (whose man Jay Z is her boss at label ‘Roc Nation‘), has inspired to juggle both the roles of a singer and a mother: “Beyoncé was, and she still is, such an inspiration. She’s been in the game for so long you think she’s older but she’s only 30. She’s a superwoman with a career and a family. I hope one day I can do the same – baby in one arm, microphone in the other.”

”One minute I’m singing Destiny’s Child‘s ‘Say My Name‘ in my dad’s pub and the next I’m sitting here asking Beyoncé, does she think this song is right for my album?’ The first time I met her I was so nervous. I hugged her and told her she was my inspiration.”

Beyoncé To Make Documentary Film

Global superstar Beyoncé Knowles now has another thing to add to her endless CV- director of a feature-length-film! The ‘LA Times‘ reports that the Mum of baby Blue Ivy is keen to get back to work after an 8 month break: “Knowles and her representatives at agency ‘ICM‘ have in recent weeks been shopping a nonfiction film to Hollywood studios about the celebrity’s life and career.”

It will document her music career, secretive personal life, and will feature a “mix of music and personal study, blending concert footage with confessional interview.” At least she will have had a taste of it before thanks to her 2011 effort in the lead up to the release of her album ‘4‘, with ‘Beyoncé: Year of 4.’

Beyoncé Performs Comeback Gig

Beyoncé performed her 1st combeback gig last night after taking a 9 month break from music. The new Mum of baby Blue Ivy performed the 1st of 3 nights at the ‘Revel Resort & Casino‘ in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to 5,500 adoring fans. She wore an array of crystal covered stage outfits, designed personally for the singer by London design house ‘Ralph & Russo‘.

She told the crowds in the ‘Ovation Hall‘: “I gotta say, it feels so good to be back home on stage.” In a clip of her preparation for the gig, she talked about reviving Sasha Fierce, her stage persona: “I’m trying to become Sasha Fierce again. She’s dead, but I need to bring her back to life.”

Doting husband Jay Z watched his wife proudly from the wings, and tweeted his opinions on her performance: “I’m gonna say this and then I’m gonna end mine. Beyoncé is the best performer in the world. Period.”

Bey & Jay Renew Wedding Vows

Beyoncé & Jay Z have celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows in a midnight ceremony on Wednesday. The couple married in 2008, but have in fact been together for over a decade.

‘Star Magazine‘ was tipped off: “Jay told Beyoncé earlier this year that he wanted to marry her all over again. They want the ceremony to be simple but elegant. They’re having ‘Nobu‘ cater it, and Jay put together a special presentation showing him and Bee through the years.”

It took place at their New York apartment, and Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, Kanye West and Oprah Winfrey are said to have showed up. It’s unknown as to whether her father and former manager Matthew Knowles was invited to the event, but is seems unlikely given their recent conflicts.

Jay Z was spotted jewellery shopping this week at ‘Jacob and Co.‘, and emerged wearing a gold band. Her ring is yellow gold like Jay, and ‘The Daily Mail‘ claim that Jay was particularly interested in the ‘Lumina’ rare blue diamonds on display.
