Lauren Goodger Reveals Recent Cervical Cancer Scare After Test

Former ‘The Only Way Is Essex‘ ‘star’ Lauren Goodger has revealed to ‘The Mirror‘ that she had a very major health scare 5 years ago which has led her to become heavily involved with cervical cancer charities.

“When people really have a go at me, I remind myself how lucky I am. I went for my usual routine smear test and they found abnormal cells. I needed to have a colposcopy, a procedure where they look at what’s going on and then treat it. The first thing that I thought was, I’m gonna die. I’ve got cancer. I was frightened about what they might find and I was nervous about the procedure. It was quite painful even though they gave me a local anaesthetic. Afterwards I bled for a while and felt weak. In my case, they were able to laser the abnormal cells away.”

“I was so relieved but I worried for ages that it hadn’t gone away and that something bad was going to happen. I had to go back every 6 months for a smear test. Now I just have one every year and, thank God, it all seems to be clear. So when the bullies are at their worst, thinking about what happened makes me realise how small-minded they really are.”

Lauren Goodger Bows Out Of Essex

Ever since she began her career on ‘The Only Way With Essex‘, Lauren Goodger has shared a tumultuous relationship with the show’s producers. And now they appear to have clashed once again amid plans of hers to turn her and her sister Nicola into “the British versions of the Kardashians.”

As a result of their row over her role on the show, they cut most of the scenes which she filmed last Sunday at the ‘George Shillibeer‘ pub in Islington following Arg‘s marathon run. A tweet written yesterday implied that she was in a feud: “Think about time spread my wings a lot things arising @NicolaGoodger @RiannaGoodger.” At last night’s ‘Elite 2012 Model‘ event, she spoke out about the reports to ‘exclusivetv.co.uk‘. “There’s been some issues which are currently being looked into while ‘TOWIE‘ is on a break.”

‘Lauren’s Way’ Is Petrol Bombed

‘The Only Way Is Essex‘ cast haven’t had a lot of luck of late on the whole, and Lauren Goodger certainly hasn’t. Just 24 hours after opening her new ‘Lauren’s Way‘ boutique in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, it’s been closed temporarily by police after a petrol bombing attack.

Several thugs set alight to the salon and smashed its windows just hours after the opening ceremony, where she signed autographs on the red carpet. It caught fire last night at around 10pm, and police have been present today in an attempt to find whoever is responsible. The arson attack is said to have caused minimal damage to the salon and surrounding properties, but the flats above had to evacuated as a precaution.

In a series of tweets yesterday, she thanked fans for visiting the salon: “In my salon sorry for everyone queueing outside won’t be long guys and we can all do pictures and signings. Ahh just met the sweetest girl she cried on me second girl who has cried on me today.. Makes me want to cry! So kind of you glad I inspire you. Thanks for you’re lovely messages tonight.. In bed with Lydia and Georgia 3 in a bed won’t be able to sleep tonight..#angelslookingover.”

TOWIE’s Lauren Dumped By Fiancé Mark

Another day, another TOWIE couple breaks up…Lauren Goodger has been unceremoniously dumped by fiancé Mark Wright over alleged cheating claims.

She was papped today carrying a box of her possessions out of his flat with a friend, who accompanied her for moral support.

Mark is clearly taking the split a lot better, having spent the weekend at Edinburgh’s TV festival, posting on Twitter: “To all who are asking I can confirm me and Lauren have separated. That’s all i can say now. She will always have a place in my heart.”

His spokesperson added: “It is true Mark has split with Lauren and asked her to move out of his flat two days ago.”

The cause for their split is that Mark claims to have discovered that Lauren had been cheating on him with another guy and she was kissing and getting close to him while Mark was in Marbs.

‘TOWIE’ Wedding Won’t Be Filmed

It was expected to almost out-do Kate & Will’s wedding, but ‘TOWIE’ fans will be shocked to hear that soon-to-be-married Lauren Goodger has denied that her wedding will be filmed for the ITV2 show.

Lauren said: “The wedding won’t be filmed for the show. I don’t want to feel like I am on stage for my big day with cameras everywhere. A party is different. A wedding is special for us to share with our families. It’s my big day – it’s not for television. In fact, hardly any of the TOWIE cast will be there. Only those I am very close to like Nanny Pat and Arg and Lydia. Not the others because I don’t really know them. They are work colleagues, not friends. Living your life on camera is fun, but it is tiring and stressful. It’s nice to have private time.”

Yeah, course she won’t! Until one of the producers waves a £100,000 cheque in her face or something.

‘The Only Way Is Essex’ Cast Wreak Havoc On Daybreak

The stars of the hilarious ITV2 series that is ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ popped along to the Daybreak studios this morning, to talk about the astonishing success of the series, and their competition for a BAFTA award against serious dramas like ‘Downton Abbey’.

Cocktails just after 8am?! Of course!

Amy, Lauren and Joey ‘Essex’ were invited to read the news and do the weather report.

Amy made a fantastic news reader, and started up with real enthusiasm, but this waned when she couldn’t pronounce names like “Deyan Valentinov Deyanov”. The queen of vajazzles then stopped, and asked a nearby member of the crew, “What does that say?”

Joey proved however that he was in desperate need of a Geography lesson or two. He made the slight mistake of pointing at Wales when he was looking for London on the map, and then proceeded to point to Scotland when the crew corrected him.

He even managed to drop his signature catchphrase, ‘Reem’, into conversation, when declaring his opinion of the weather in Manchester: “That’s not reem”.

'Where's London?'

Lauren Goodger dished the dirt on her argument at the end of the second series with ‘playboy’ fiancé Mark Wright. She pushed him into a pool after he prevented her from coming to a party that he was hosting in one clearly staged scene, but Lauren confirmed that all is well between the pair now: “Two minutes later we went home and had tea and biscuits. But he deserved it, it felt good.”

Presenter Christine Bleakley was impressed by Joey’s bouffant style blow-dried hair, whilst sports presenter Dan Lobb was treated to a ‘manjazzle’ on his chest by Amy.

The show returns in the autumn for a third series; I can’t wait that long, I have withdrawal symptoms already!

Essex’s Answer To The Royal Wedding

As the country prepares for the upcoming Royal wedding between Kate & Wills, Essex have got a whole other one to prepare for…the wedding of Mark Wright & Lauren Goodger, of course!

‘The Only Way Is Essex’ stars dragged their closest friends along to their formal engagement ‘do’- so formal in fact, that Lauren arrived in a white Rolls Royce Phantom, and Mark and the famous ‘Arg’ on a horse and cart!

Just days before the event, (which took place at the same venue where they had their initial celebratory ‘do’), Mark and Lauren were spotted arguing about the engagement party, with the pair disagreeing on how to entertain their guests at the event.

However, they quickly made up, and Lauren treated Mark to a surprise day out to a wedding fayre at the same venue they chose for the engagement party.

Mark’s ex Sam stole the lime light from the bride-to-be in a plunging neckline leopard print dress and bouffant hair, with her and her latest boyfriend, ‘reem’ looking Joey Essex, showing off their fake tans.
