Back in April ‘CUTV‘ caught up with Loveable Rogues for a chat before their gig alongside Olly Murs in Cardiff… see what they had to say about being Beliebers, celeb pals ‘Little Mix‘ and ‘One Direction‘, getting Rita Ora‘s number, running around naked, and how Té is getting on with driving (I’m pretty sure I may have found a worse driver than myself!)

Whilst I can’t find a practically identical version on the High Street, I have found several considerably cheaper alternatives, listed below. (I believe the reason for my struggle is the majority of the population deem it socially unacceptable to wear sequins all year-round, and only at Christmas- these people need to lighten up, quite literally!)

She joked on her Twitter page with a fan about going for a Master’s one day, and posted an image of her graduation gown, whilst thanking well-wishers for their interest in her big day: “GRADUATION DAY! Congrats to the worldwide class of 2013! Graduation selfie! Inspiring day at @USC! Thank you Jimmy Iovene for that ‘igniting’ speech! & @USCDornsife for all your support! Fight On! Thank you for all the love on Grad day! I feel overwhelmingly lucky 4 my education! If only every child had access to a great education! #imagine. Another day, another coast, another Graduation! Now I get to watch my best friend @tamara__hamdan, get her ‘MBA‘ from Columbia! So proud!”

She recalled the dramatic event in the interview: “It was terrifying. I had never experienced anything like that before and it really shook the foundations of my world. It was about 5am when I heard someone banging on my window. I went downstairs and saw a crazy guy outside with two huge kitchen knives in his hands. He looked like he wanted to kill me and he kept banging on the windows, demanding to be let in. I screamed. I was certain he was going to get through the windows or the door and then that would be it. I was certain he would kill me if he could get inside.”

“Luckily, my boyfriend heard the noise and came tearing down the stairs. He got his gun, went outside and put it to the man’s head. Cy forced him to the ground and held him there until the police arrived. If he had not acted so swiftly, I don’t think anyone would have got there in time to save me. Seeing someone with such hate in this eyes- someone who wants to kill you- makes you question things, and it made me wonder about the price of fame. There was so much chaos in my life at the time. After the attack I decided it was time to withdraw from the public eye before anything worse happened.”

“I’ve always been driven to accomplish something with my life for myself and not just take handouts from my family. It would have been easy to sit back and live off my family, but I wanted to be independent and make my family proud. Now I’m moving into the hotel business and it feels the natural next step. I’ve always been inspired by my grandfather and how he grew this huge empire from nothing. It’s something I look up to. People have never got to know the real Paris Hilton. They remember me for falling out of nightclubs and messing around on a reality show. But that was just a character I was playing. You should see me in a business meeting. I have changed a great deal in the past few years. I’m not some ditzy blonde who can get pushed around. I’m a tough businesswoman.”

“My doctors estimated that I had an 87% risk of breast cancer and a 50% risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman. Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy. For any woman reading this, I hope it helps you to know you have options. I want to encourage every woman, especially if you have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, to seek out the information and medical experts who can help you through this aspect of your life, and to make your own informed choices.”

“I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer. During that time I have been able to keep this private and to carry on with my work. But I am writing about it now because I hope that other women can benefit from my experience. Cancer is still a word that strikes fear into people’s hearts, producing a deep sense of powerlessness. But today it is possible to find out through a blood test whether you are highly susceptible to breast and ovarian cancer, and then take action.”

Her team spent a staggering €875 on chicken from ‘Nandos‘- so much so, that it was most definitely for all her dancers, assistants, stage crew etc-I should think she had an assistant pick up the massive order from the Mary Street eatery. She ordered a combination of platters, and was given an-ooh, €12.75 discount- how generous! Of course, it is possible that it’s all a fake…but going by the date on the receipt and time of purchase (it coincides with the average finish time of concerts), I highly doubt it. The lady likes to eat! Hooray!

Fab news fellow fashionistas…’Sex & The City‘ teen spin-off ‘The Carrie Diaries‘ has been picked up for another season! It has been an agonising month-long wait for the stars, writers and fans of of the show, but alas, good news has come at last… ‘The CW‘ are pleased with recent rating figures and are willing to give it another shot.

Leading lady AnnaSophia Robb, aka Baby Bradshaw, tweeted: “Yay! #TheCarrieDiaries got picked up for season 2! Thank you #Carriers for your support! Happy Friday #Carriers! Let’s get #keepcalmandcarrieon trending You all are the most amazing supporters!” Meanwhile, the show’s excellent writers, added to their page: “The show’s writers thanks so much for all #TheCarrieDiaries love!! We couldn’t be more excited!” Better get back to the drawing board then guys…

Shenae gushed on Twitter: “I now pronounce us Mr. and Mrs. Beech! Ahhh! Thanking all of my fans endlessly for the beautiful well wishes on our recent wedding! Big hugs to all of you for your constant support! Off and away on our honeymoon!!! Ah! So excited!” New hubby Josh, a British model/ singer, who’s band has just released an EP titled ‘We Are The Masters of Our Fate‘, also wrote: “Fuck, I have a wife hahaha. Introducing the #Beech‘s …….. I have a wife! @shenaegrimes now known as Shenae Beech! A huge thank you to Hedi Slimane at #SaintLaurentParis for making my suit for my wedding. Her gown was spectacular; not many people would have the edgyness to pull a black netted lace creation off, but she somehow manages it. I love the fact that she’s worn Vera Wang for her wedding, but not white- I think more people should begin to realise that wedding dresses don’t have to be white!
