‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ runner-up Abbey Clancey officially cemented her status as a WAG today by marrying footballer fiance Peter Crouch.
The wedding took place in Leicestershire, at the four-star ‘Stapleford Park’ hotel.
The designer of her dress is Giles Deacon, and it’s slim structure flattered her envious size 6 figure. She paired her white lace corset dress with some droplet earrings and ‘beach wave’ hair.
She opted for less traditional bridal make-up, wearing a ‘smoky eyed’ look, and bright red nails.
Here’s the fist snap of former ‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole’s new bob (photo courtesy of @MarkMeets). This look is very à la Posh, and looks almost identical (apart form a slightly darker hue) to Posh’s 2007 ‘Pob’.
Cheryl will be celebrating with friends and family tomorrow night in London for her 28th birthday party.
Who wears the look best, Posh or Chez? And most importantly, what will L’Oreal say? Do you think she’ll have to wear a wig in their commercials?
It’s been a while since I’ve heard anything about ‘Ugly Betty’ actress America Ferrera; little did I know that the whole time she was planning a huge wedding!
The 27-year-old actress married her director fiance, Ryan Piers Williams, Monday night in New York.
The location of the event was former co-star Vanessa Williams’ house, and other ‘Ugly Betty’ friends, like Rebecca Romijn, also attended. Her pal Blake Lively, who worked with her whilst filming the ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ movies, also attended.
The designer of her dress is Amsale Christos, and her earrings were from Fred Leighton. She and her husband were college sweethearts, and got engaged last June. Congrats America!
She’s definitely an ugly duckling that’s blossomed into a white swan!
The shorter high-lighted bob she sported in GA's early days
It’s been a few months since Chezza changed her hair colour, but when she visited the American Embassy this morning, she showed off her new choppy blonde bob (which has been compared to Jennifer Aniston’s new cropped ‘do).
Despite being papped, the pictures have not been sold as of yet to the press- the rumoured cost of each snap is over $10,000.
She wore a t-shirt, black leather jacket, sunglasses and long nails. Witnesses say she had a gaunt face, which is probably due to recent stress.
Has she gone for an auburn coloured 'do, like this?
A reporter said: “Cheryl’s hair is honey, not bright blonde, slightly feathered at the ends & just above shoulder. Maybe it’s for Ashley? He likes blondes 😦 Lots more Cheryl hair questions. So to answer- she looks great. She’s smiling & looks fresher and more natural that she has done in ages.”
I can’t wait to see the pictures, I’m thinking she’s turned ‘dirty blonde’.
It’s something most performers must have nightmares about…tripping over onstage and falling to the floor.
Rihanna had a slight slip-up onstage in Canada yesterday, and well and truly ‘face planted’ the floor; she managed to get straight back up on her knees within seconds, continuing with the dance to her hit ‘What’s My Name?’
I’m sure the 16,000 people in the crowd applauded her professionalism, and laughed at the way she made fun of herself as she got back up.
She’s spent the last few days in the confinements of a tent (okay, maybe not), so it’s no surprise Bey is ready for a little post-Glastonbury retail therapy. Piers Morgan invited her along for a shopping expedition to Knightsbridge’s ritziest store, Harrods, to purchase her latest album- ‘4’.
But when you’re name is Beyoncé Knowles, there’s no such thing as a quiet shopping trip. She and Piers were guided by security to HMV, where chaos ensued as the paps rushed towards her.
The reason for the trip was that during her interview for her upcoming ‘Life Stories’ special, she told Piers that she rarely managed to go out and buy a copy of her records. The show airs at 9pm tonight in the US, so I would guess that she should be gracing our TV screens some time next week.
In a clip form the interview, she discusses whether her race has affected her career: “At least with my career, I’ve kind of broken barriers, and I don’t think people think about my race,” she says. “I think they look at me as an entertainer and a musician and I’m very happy that’s changing because that’s how I look at people.”
Worldwide superstar Beyoncé Knowles closed a weeks’ worth of Glastonbury celebrations last night with an astonishing set.
The set list (which she confided to Jo Whiley was checked beforehand by Coldplay’s Chris Martin), included her first single of ‘4’, ‘Who Run The World? (Girls)’, a Prince classic, and The King’s of Leon’s ‘Sex On Fire’, as well as a couple of old ‘Destiny’s Child’ tunes.
Husband Jay Z and pal Gwynnie were watching from the front
In her interview with the BBC presenter, she spoke about how she settled her nerves the night before her performance by watching other acts on the main stage: “It made me feel a lot better last night, you realise people just want to listen to great music. I just thought, this is just beautiful. I just thought, calm down girl! I’m happy it was sunny, it was beautiful today! My first impression of Glastonbury, well, it’s fascinating to see everybody in the mud, it’s like they’re all united as one.”
And her outfit was as ‘diva-ish’ as you’d expect..a gorgeous gold sequinned jacket, worn with just a pair of black hotpants. She wore a pair of huge black heels onstage, before slipping into a pair of ‘Hunter’ wellies for comfort.
