Nicki Minaj has collaborated with top nail brand ‘OPI‘ for a small collection of brightly- coloured polishes.
She’s injected her own rap lyrics into the names for each polish, creating “Super Bass Shatter”, “Fly“, “Metallic 4 Life”, “Pink Friday”, “Save Me“, “Did It On ‘Em“.
The colours vary from baby pink to sky blue, and she’s clearly taken inspiration from Katy Perry‘s ‘shatter effect’ designs for the brand.
The collection is due for release in January 2012, and will retail at £11 per bottle at various nail salons.
Kim Kardashian, Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Love Hewitt, cooked and served special ‘Thanksgiving‘ meals at the ‘LA Mission‘ yesterday.
The famous ladies volunteered their time for the cause, and seemed to find it extremely gratifying.
Kim wrote on her Twitter: “Just left the ‘LA Mission‘. Met so many kindhearted people! They’re goal is to feed 120,000 people by the end of the year! We fed so many today. Everyone of us can do something small that will make a huge difference to someone else.”
Being a traditional girl, Kim‘s spending her ‘Thanksgiving‘ with her family: “Happy ‘Thanksgiving‘ everyone! Just killed it in the gym, now off to cook with the family! Hope you all have a relaxing &blessed weekend! Xoxo.”
The entire ‘Gossip Girl‘ cast celebrated the 100th episode of the hit ‘ITV2‘ show on Monday. Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Michelle Trachtenberg, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford spent the evening at ‘Cipriani‘ on Wall Street.
One of the most controversial outfits of the evening was Blake‘s daring ‘Marchesa‘ dress, which bared her perfectly toned body, flattering her in all the right places, with some gold ‘Versace‘ sandals.
Leighton Meester‘s figure-hugging cream mini came from Balmain‘s Spring 2012 collection, and she wore her hair loose around her shoulders, and gave her eyes a pretty bronze shade.
‘She-Devil’/ Blair Waldorf‘s worst enemy, the foul mouthed Georgina Sparks, (Michelle Trachtenberg), wore a navy jumpsuit.
My favourite trio, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick smoldered for the cameras, and new cast members Chloe Moretz and Kaylee DeFer also made the occasion.
Kelly Rutherford (Lily van der Woodsen) uploaded a picture of a glittery cake with the caption “Happy 100th! #GGCake.”
And here’s to another 100 episodes!
JLS‘ shortest member, pint-sized Aston Merrygold got yet another tattoo yesterday.
The symbol this time was Peterborough cathedral, which has been added to his right arm., which he’s chosen to remind him of his roots.
“I am only getting tattoos that have a meaning and I was thinking about what I could design to show where I am from. I may live away but I’m always going to be the lad from Peterborough“, he said.
Being the attention seeker that he is, he even wore a short-sleeved purple t-shirt out to ‘Movida‘ last night, in order to give it maximum exposure.
This may be one of the tackiest tattoos I have ever seen.
The ‘American Music Awards‘ took place at LA‘s ‘Nokia Theatre‘ last night, and the females in attendance seemed to be on top form.
Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez were among the big winners.
Taylor received the best artist and album in the country category, and artist of the year. She wore a glittering gold ‘Reem Acra‘ dress and emerald earrings.
She was reunited with friend Selena Gomez, who she squeezed for a giant hug after hearing the news of her win.
“Thank you so much oh my goodness, this is amazing,” she told the crowds.
A rubbery looking Katy Perry wore a shocking pink ‘Vivienne Westwood‘ dress.
She congratulated her friend Taylor on Twitter: “Congrats girl. You wrote every single NOTE & LYRIC for ‘Speak Now‘. That is not an easy feat. You deserve every bit of tonight.”
“I had one of the most magical nights with my friends tonight! Hopping on a redeye to play our last two shows at Madison Square Garden! Standing backstage. So excited to have just won an AMA! I love you guys! And it absolutely blew me away when Nicki thanked me in her speech,” Taylor wrote.
An emotional J-Lo made a short speech for her Latin award: “It’s been up and down and just exciting and overwhelming and so many things. I’m grateful for all my blessings,” she gushed.

Rihanna only wore a tartan dress last night, and she’s already started a massive trend!
She wore a tartan puffball skirt ‘Alexander McQueen‘ design on the UK‘s ‘X Factor‘ for her performance of ‘We Found Love‘. The dress was worn with a white pointed collar shirt, sheer tights and ‘F-word’ creeper shoes.
The itself can be purchased from either’Net-A-Porter‘ or ‘Selfridges‘ for £465, but is rumoured to have sold out already, due to enormous public demand.
From a distance, the graffiti on her shoes was not visible; however, as the camera zoomed in, you could see that she’d been a ‘rude girl’, and had etched on just a few of her favourite words.
She covered up a little on her way out of the studios in sunglasses, a grey scarf, and a leather jacket.
If you’ve got about £500 spare and are a Size 14, snap up the last dress here!
But if you’re most of a High Street girl, buy one of Motel‘s long sleeved tartan chiffon dresses in red or grey on ‘ASOS‘, which cost £48.
Dermot O’Leary proposed to girlfriend of nine years Dee Koppang earlier this month, ‘The Xtra Factor‘ presenter Caroline Flack let slip last night.
He proposed during a romantic mini-break to New York in upmarket restaurant ‘Saxon & Parole.’
Caroline gave it away when she told Dermot: “We want to congratulate you… on your engagement!” She then cheekily asked him why it had taken him such a long time to do it, and he told her, “you don’t want to rush these things.”
“Thanks for all the tweets tonight. Very lucky boy,” Dermot wrote on his Twitter.
Kimberly Walsh rang in her 30th birthday last night with a celeb-packed party at the ‘Westbury Hotel‘ in Mayfair, and was joined by long-term boyfriend Justin Scott.
The only one of her ‘Girls Aloud‘ bandmates that made it to the event was Nicola Roberts, as Nadine is sunning herself in LA, Sarah‘s recovering at home post-rehab, and Cheryl‘s recovering from an illness herself.
Before Nicola arrived at the party, she tweeted: “It’s Saturday night and Kimba has a killer party planned.. Who else is letting go tonight?”, and later uploaded a blurry photo of the pair of them with the caption “I love you Kimberley.”
The birthday girl was surprised with a massive five tiered cake.
Despite not being there physically, Cheryl was still thinking of her friend: “Looks like a good night, Happy Birthday Kimba, more beautiful and special than ever, love you so much.”
Justin Bieber told ‘Extra‘ hosts on Thursday with his manager Scooter Braun that he would definitely be taking the paternity test on Friday.
Scooter insists that Mariah Yates will not get away with making false accusations: “He’s ready to take a paternity test, at any moment. We have one scheduled for tomorrow. He doesn’t mind, he’s like, ‘I’m just going to go ahead of it and be fine’.”
Justin added: “This could happen again. We don’t want it to seem like it’s okay to say, ‘Justin’s having my baby’ or ‘has had my baby’.”
The teen singer has been spending a lot of time with some of the most special women in his life, and tweeted a picture of them yesterday, with the caption: “This is #LOVE – Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma – strong women. #FAMILY.”
‘The Devil Wears Prada‘ actress Anne Hathaway crashed the ‘Occupy Wall Street‘ demonstration in Manhattan’s Union Square yesterday.
The star, who’s worth a cool $58 million, was pictured marching with protesters and boasting a sign saying ‘Blackboards Not Bullets‘.
The protest began back in September, in the city’s financial district, and focuses on social and economic issues and mass unemployment.
Anne was born in Brooklyn, New York, and so the city’s politics are clearly very close to her heart.
