Miley Cyrus made sure boyfriend of 2 years, Liam Hemsworth, had a 22nd birthday party that he’d certainly never forget.
She organised a naughty-shaped cake to be delivered on Saturday to the party at ‘Club Icon‘ in LA. The custom-made cake, made especially for the bash, was in the shape of a huge penis! She licked the cake provocatively, despite the mass of cameras. Pictures from inside the private party have since been sold to ‘TMZ‘. A party-goer snitched that Miley had also been drinking cocktails and dancing on tables during the evening, and flashed the tops of her stockings.
Last November she faced backlash from the press after telling party guests “you know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake!”
Hilarious picture, she is too funny!
Cynthia Nixon (aka Miranda Hobbes from ‘Sex & The City‘), has shaved her hair off for an acting role. Her latest project is about a cancer patient in a Broadway show called ‘Wit‘, which starts today. The actress, who is famous for her red bob, will play a professor called Vivian Bearing at the ‘Samuel J. Friedman Theatre‘ in New York.
In the publicity shots, she is sporting a very gaunt frame, and is sitting on a hospital bed whilst eating an iced-lolly, and being treated by a nurse.
She was seen for the first time minus her usual hair earlier this week on ‘Live With Kelly.’ She told host Kelly Ripa: “I thought it was kind of gonna be no muss-no fuss, but I have to shave it every day! It’s got kind of a five o’clock shadow, and you don’t want to go on with that. I was always kind of curious to see what it would be like. I like it; I don’t think I’m gonna keep it forever.”
Her own brush with cancer in 2006 no doubt influenced her decision to accept the role. She herself discovered she had the early stages of breast cancer during a routine mammogram, and sought treatment for it.
Rihanna has bizarrely decided that it’s a great idea to get the words ‘Thug Life‘ inked onto her knuckles. Thankfully, she’s had her latest etching inked in a pale pink shade, which is barely noticeable from a distance. In the pictures posted on her Twitter, she can be seen reclining on a table in a tattoo parlour, whilst clutching a beer bottle in one hand.
She then posted a series of tweets about the ‘Tupac‘ tribute artwork: “I can’t deny it, I’m a riot…you don’t wanna fuck with me! All eyes on Rih, better picture me rolling. I’m thinking I should of got a tear drop instead! Everybody has an opinion, but you all know what you all can do with them! I love my new tattoo! I got it in “Tibetan” this time! All these bitches screaming that ‘Tupac‘ back.”
When one fan commented that she “wasn’t a thug”, she responded with “shut up bitch, swallow!”
Amanda Holden gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Monday called Hollie Rose Hughes. She has been in a critical condition since her daughter’s birth, but her spokesperson has confirmed tonight that she is now stable.
In her statement, Alison Griffin wrote: “Hollie Rose Hughes was born on 23 January 2012. She is healthy and weighed in at 6.1lbs but Amanda has been in a critical condition for the past 3 days. She is now stable and we expect her to make a full recovery very soon. We thank you for respecting their privacy at this time.”
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent‘ judge checked herself into hospital on Monday after feeling some abdominal pain, and spent 2 nights ‘under observation‘. She has had to cancel her day’s work on the judging panel in Blackpool with Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
Her last Twitter post (4 days ago) read: “I walk less than 25 metres a day in heels whilst up the duff!”
Congratulations to her, Chris and Lexi!
A shortlist of this year’s Oscar (Academy Award) nominees is in, and I’m guessing that several of Hollywood‘s leading actors and actresses will be feeling quite smug right about now.
Up for the ‘Best Actress‘ award is obvious winner Meryl Streep (‘The Iron Lady‘), Glenn Close (‘Albert Nobbs‘), Viola Davis (‘The Help‘), Rooney Mara (‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo‘), and Michelle Williams (‘My Week with Marylin‘).
The nominees for the ‘Best Supporting Actress‘ category include the hilarious Melissa McCarthy (‘Bridesmaids‘), Octavia Spencer (‘The Help‘), Berenice Bejo (‘The Artist‘), Jessica Chastain (‘The Help‘), and Janet McTeer (‘Albert Nobbs.’)
Battling it out for ‘Best Actor‘ are: George Clooney (‘The Descendants‘), Brad Pitt (‘Moneyball‘), Jean Dujardin (‘The Artist‘), Damian Bichir (‘A Better Life‘) and Gary Oldman (‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy‘).
“I am honored to be in company with such beautiful artists, and touched deeply by my fellow actors for their generosity in giving me this acknowledgment,” said Meryl Streep.
Brad Pitt wrote: “This is an extraordinary honor. I am dizzy with joy… and caffeine. Considering both films, ‘Moneyball‘ and ‘The Tree of Life,’ nearly didn’t make it to the screen, this is especially sweet. And I’d like to thank all the artisans and craftsmen who gave their best to each film. I am especially over the moon for Jonah (and the other ‘Moneyballers‘ acknowledged today), Terry Malick and the tribute this is to Billy Beane and the Oakland A’s organization. My congratulations to all the nominees…pancakes for everyone.”
So it’s looking like ‘The Help‘ and ‘War Horse‘ are the front-runners for the awards!
‘The Hills‘ star Kristin Cavallari and her fiancé, ‘Chicago Bears‘ quarterback Jay Cutler, are expecting their first child together.
In an exclusive with ‘People‘ magazine, they said: “We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together. It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.”
What is clearly an accident is the result of their well-documented split and quick reconciliation in 2011. They called off their engagement in July just a few months after Jay popped the question in Mexico.
Simon Cowell has finally taken his family’s advice and sought help for his smoking habit. He is currently smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day, and has been sent to an addiction clinic. It is going to be considerably difficult for the 52-year-old to quit, having smoked since he was 8 years old.
‘The People‘ reported: “Simon made it his New Year resolution. He’s been smoking since a very young age and feels the time is now right to try and stop. He has no major health issues at the moment but, as always, he is under a lot of pressure with his work schedule. Simon’s mother and some of his closest friends have been nagging him for some time about trying to stop smoking. His grandfather Robert was a heavy smoker who died of lung cancer. His father suffered a heart attack. It’s made Simon think long and hard about his own health now.”
Simon‘s spokesman Max Clifford said yesterday: “Simon is a very healthy guy who looks after himself diet-wise very well. But he has made a New Year’s resolution to give up, or at least significantly cut back, on his smoking.”
“First day of (‘Britain’s Got Talent‘) auditions, think we found a star but won’t give it away. David Walliams is insane,” he tweeted yesterday.
