Zayn Malik has had to pull out of several appearances with band ‘One Direction‘ on their US tour after the death of his Aunt. He made the decision to return to the UK to mourn with the rest of his family, and attend her funeral. His bandmates will continue to fulfill their commitments, and are supporting American group ‘Big Time Rush‘. Niall Horan will take over his singing duties and sing his lines as the band perform as a 4 piece.
Harry Styles first broke the news to their fans on Twitter: “Zayn has suffered a loss in his family & has had to go home for a few days so won’t be at our next shows in the US. Our thoughts are with him and his family at this sad time.” Zayn hasn’t posted any messages over the last few days, but did retweet this: “God has no phone, but I talk to him. He has no Facebook, but he is still my friend. He does not have a Twitter, but I still follow him.”
This band in particular usually have a very good relationship with their fans, but after Harry‘s tweet announcing that Zayn was going home, Zayn lost over 7,000 followers within a few hours. Pathetic, girls.
