Chantelle Worries About Childbirth

Standard

Chantelle Houghton has told ‘The People‘ that she fears she may not be able to hold her baby when she’s born after having 2 health minor scares in just over a week. Last Wednesday she was rushed to hospital and hooked up to a monitor for 24 hours for observation, and just 2 days later she collapsed while out on a shopping trip.

Chantelle admitted to the paper: “I worry that something will happen to me, that the baby will be born and I won’t be here. That doctors said that when you’re in labour your heart goes up even more and so I’m terrified of the whole thing. I also worry that I will go into labour early and then who knows what will happen.” She has an abnormally high heart rate for a woman of her age, and her family have a history of heart related problems, so she has reason to be a little worried!
