Gary Barlow Stranded In The Pacific

Standard

Yesterday Gary Barlow got stranded on an island in the Solomons in the Pacific after discovering that he was directly in the path an approaching cyclone. He was there for a tour of the Commonwealth, and had filming commitments, as he’s hosting a documentary in honour of the Queen’s Jubilee. As the weather took a turn for the worse, he had to ask to be sent help in the shape of a search and rescue team.

The ‘X Factor‘ judge tweeted about being greeted by heavy rain and wind on Friday: “We’re stranded on an island in the Solomons. There’s a cyclone heading our way and there’s no way off. Gonna have to sit it out! Powers back on. The lovely government here are sending a search and rescue boat for us this morning…adventure.”
