Khloé Kardashian-Odom has vowed to quit Reality TV for now in order to focus on her relationship with husband Lamar Odom. It has been under enormous strain over the last few months, largely thanks to a number of transfers to play for different basketball teams across-state.
She fears that if she doesn’t make this sacrifice, it could spell the end of their marriage. She explained to ‘People‘ magazine why she’s fighting for her marriage: “Divorce is not an option. We just wanted to prioritise a little; we just wanted a little pause. Part of being married is knowing when your husband needs your support. There’s less pressure on us. I’m a modern girl, but you should put your husband first. I like to think divorce is not an option.”
And on ‘Entertainment Tonight‘, the couple reiterated that the show will only be going on hiatus: “Our show is not cancelled. Lamar and I have chosen to take a break this summer. We’ve been on a whirlwind and doing back to back shows, so we just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family… kids, basketball, Olympics, you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now. We just want to be happy. We’ll take our time and we’ll get back to it when it’s time.”
The pair will still appear on the longest-running Kardashian show, ‘Keeping Up With Kardashians‘, although very scarcely.
