Lady Gaga Splits Leather Trousers

Standard

Lady Gaga made a bit of a fashion faux pas on the weekend by splitting her latex/ leather-look trousers onstage.

The fabulous singer flashed both of her arse cheeks to the audience during a performance of ‘Heavy Metal Lover‘ during her concert. The performance took place at  the ‘Rogers Arena‘ in Vancouver Friday night, and much to the crowd’s happiness, she continued with the dance moves, not letting the gaping hole distract her! Maybe she should ask ‘Versace‘ for a refund?!

Helen Flanagan Almost Kills Boyfriend By Reversing Into Him

Standard

Whichever fool gave Helen Flanagan a driving license should feel like one…the blonde bimbo/ actress nearly killed her boyfriend yesterday by putting her car into reverse, without realising that the footballer was stood right behind the vehicle.

The ex- ‘I’m A Celebrity‘ contestant had spent 2 hours looking for a Post Office, and was clearly exhausted after completing such a very strenuous task. She tweeted: “But there’s not just one Post Office there’s 2. I don’t know Macclesfield. Bloody hell it’s hard work isn’t it. And when I get there they tell me to go back to the other one. So I’m driving around getting evils from all drivers. My wing mirror is hanging on for dear life. I nearly ran over my bf today too put it in reverse didn’t realise he was getting his suitcase out the boot.” Speechless…and my family say that I’m a poor driver!

Standard

Glamour model Katie Price is preparing to walk down the aisle for the third time. The Mum of 3 has announced her engagement to boyfriend of 3 weeks, 25-year-old stripper Kieran Hayler, just 11 weeks after leaving Leandro Penna.

He popped the question over Christmas dinner, and Pricey‘s told ‘The Sun‘: “”It just feels right. I know what people will say about me because I’ve heard it all before. But life is short and so when something feels right I just go for it.”

Adele Scoops Up ‘Golden Globe’ Award & Talks Joys Of Motherhood

Standard

Overplayed singer Adele won the ‘Best Original Song‘ ‘Golden Globe‘ award Sunday night for her track ‘Skyfall‘, and accepted her award onstage with her usual chavy humour and lack of grace. She told the star-studded crowd: “Honestly, I’ve come here for a night out! I was not expecting this… thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night. I’ve been pissing myself laughing.”

On the red carpet she was a little more sophisticated, and described her recording experience for the song as very emotional due to her recent pregnancy (she gave birth to her first son last October): “I was very pregnant and very emotional, but it was amazing. I got the script a long time ago and it took me quite a while for them to convince me. It’s a big responsibility. Motherhood is lovely, I’m really enjoying it.”

Britney Spears Calls Off Engagement

Standard

Britney Spears called off her engagement to manager Jason Trawick last week after a year-long engagement, and has voluntarily returned her $90,000Neil Lane‘ diamond ring. In a statement, the singer explain explained the news: “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.” Meanwhile, Jason added: “As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.”

Britney has also switched management, meaning that Jason will have very little control over her, and her father has reprised the role of co-conservator of her and her estate, but her father Jamie Spears will remain as conservator. In another shocking move, Brit has declined Simon Cowell‘s invitation for her to return to ‘The X Factor USA‘ for its second season this year: “I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it’s time for me to get back in the studio. Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can’t wait to get back out there and do what I love most.” A Las Vegas residency (think Celine Dion) and sitcom role are also in the pipeline, so watch this space…

Osbournes Respond To Gaga’s Letter

Standard

Earlier I posted about Lady Gaga‘s open letter to Kelly Osbourne, and now I have the Osbourne family’s responses. Kelly has since tweeted: “I hope you guys realize that I don’t care about any of this bullshit! I know who I am I don’t need anyone to tell me!… love to all.”

Mother Sharon Osbourne has defended her daughter in another letter: “Ms. Gaga, I am responding to your open letter to my daughter Kelly, and I am perplexed as to why you would go public with an open letter. Regarding this current situation; Kelly didn’t contact you, I was the one that contacted your manager today and the email is attached below for your reference. I reached out to him as Kelly’s manager and mother to ask him if you could address your “little monster” fans and stop them from writing libelous, slanderous and vile comments about my family, including death threats to Kelly. Your open letter is hypocritical and full of contradictions. And as your mother Cynthia supports you, I support my daughter Kelly.”

“I must say your opinions on what is politically correct and acceptable totally differ from mine, but that is what makes the world so interesting…we are all different. How sweet that you have empathy for my daughter, as you feel that she has taken a less passionate path in life. You say her work on ‘E!‘ with the ‘Fashion Police‘ is “rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people’s beauty against one another.” Welcome to the real world. Example, when I saw you wear a dress made out of raw meat, I was sickened. When I see you wearing fur, and using it as a fashion statement, the fact that defenseless animals have been killed so you can get your picture in the press is abhorrent to me. Shouldn’t you be teaching your “little monster” fans to respect animals and life? I don’t feel I have to justify Kelly’s choices in life to you. By your actions to Kelly right now, you have shown me that you are nothing more than a publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker. You know it would have been much more dignified of you to do this privately. I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter. Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public?”

“You state “Everyday, through my music and public voice I choose to be positive and work towards a kinder and braver world with our community of followers.” Well this obviously is not translating well to your fans, as a large portion of them have not only been vile to Kelly, but also other celebrities such as Madonna, Adele and Rihanna. “You say a kinder, braver world” I don’t know what world you live in, but supporting disgraceful fan comments doesn’t fall under the words “kinder and braver.” It comes under the heading of bullshit. In closing, stop wearing fur, stop looking for publicity, and stop using your fans to belittle not just Kelly but an endless stream of celebrities. A word from you would stop all the hideous, negative and vile threats from your “little monsters.” Let me know if you want to continue this debate. I’m an open playing field for you my darling. Sincerely, Sharon Osbourne.” Wow…who’s team are you on?

Lady Gaga Pens Open Letter To ‘Fashion Police’ Star Kelly Osbourne

Standard

Lady Gaga posted quite a controversial, yet honest, open letter to ‘Fashion Police‘ presenter Kelly Osbourne on her ‘LittleMonsters.com‘ blog yesterday. The piece, which discussed Kelly‘s criticism of other peoples image, read:

“Dear Kelly, While I wish you had reached out to me personally, as the head of the ‘Born This Way‘ foundation with my mother Cynthia we would like to respond. Everyday, through my music and public voice I choose to be positive and work towards a kinder and braver world with our community of followers. I encourage them to ignore criticism, stand up to bullies, know their own value and see that we are all the same and no one person is worth more than another. I know I’m perceived as a wild child, but in reality I am woman that deeply cares for humanity. I have empathy for you Kelly, but I feel it culturally important to note that you have chosen a less compassionate path. Your work on ‘E!‘ with the ‘Fashion Police‘ is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people’s beauty against one another. “Appearance” is the most used reason for bullying in the world. Your show breeds negativity, and over the years has even become comedic in nature. It glorifies you and Joan Rivers pointing in the camera, laughing, and making jokes about artists and celebrities as if we are zoo animals.”

“What about your body revolution? It used to make me truly sad when I would hear people talk about your weight when you were younger, as I was bullied too. To see you blossoming into a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding. Why not help others? Why not defend others who are bullied for their image and share your story?”

“I am pointing this out not to take a crack at your character, as we’ve met before and you’re lovely. However, I urge you to take responsibility and accountability for the example that you are setting for young people. They look up to you because you are famous, and if you treat others that way on TV, many adolescents at home on Twitter assume your actions are acceptable: well if she does it, why can’t I? I cannot control my fans, and I discourage them from any negativity and violence, because that is wrong and hurtful — and I do feel baldy that your feelings were hurt. However, we can all do our part in the media to set a standard of respect, compassion, and love. I wish for you to be treated with the kindness and respect that everyone deserves. While some of my fans have learning to do, most of them share the same values as I, and it’s what bonds us together. And that bond is strong. PS. And to any media or celebrities that happen to find this letter in their path, I hope you, too, consider the power of your voices. Lets work together and make 2013 a year of unity. Sincerely, Gaga and Cynthia.”

No direct response from Kelly yet, although she has since tweeted about some guests on her show: “If you have not already fallen in love with @TheSaturdays you will after seeing them on this week’s @e_FashionPolice!”
