Bieber Moans About Having ‘Worst Birthday’ Weekend In London

Standard

Justin Bieber had a diva-worthy fit on his birthday when several underage friends were turned away from a club. The singer, who is currently on a tour of the UK, had arranged a night out at upmarket club ‘Cirque du Soir‘ in Soho, and despite arriving at 2am, left just 5 minutes later after friends of the star (including Will Smith’s 14-year-old son Jaden) were rejected by the venue.

In a Twitter rant, he moaned: “Worst birthday. The funny moment when people believe I brought underage people to a club. You think Will is letting his 14 year old in a club? Second, I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn’t stay at their weak ass club, so they wouldn’t look bad for me walking in and right back out. I said ‘worst birthday’, but that was due to dummies pushing over my fans and being overly aggressive. By the way it wasn’t the worst birthday cause all my friends from back home flew in. I was just mad in the moment.”A spokesperson for the club retaliated: “We, like all clubs in London, operate a strict age policy. As a few of the members of Bieber‘s party were under the suitable age of 18, the security team clearly explained this rule and refused entry to the club for anyone who could not provide us with adequate proof of age. We are very sorry, and understand it’s Bieber‘s birthday, but our hands are tied with local authorities and rules we need to follow. We clearly didn’t want to give him the ‘worst birthday’. He is a friend and previously was always welcomed with open arms.”Cheer up Biebs…he ended the night at McDonald‘s in Earls Court, so at least he got himself a Happy Meal out of it!
