Maria Fowler, a former star of ‘ITV2‘ series ‘The Only Way Is Essex‘, tried to commit suicide last week. She made the monumental decision to end her life amid strife in her personal life, and spent 3 nights in hospital as a result of her excessive pill- taking.
Maria, who previously felt suicidal last year following a break-up, is now recovering at home with her Mum in Derby, and has since tweeted: “I have been in hospital, am ok, just a bit poorly. Hopefully will be out later on. Thank you to you all for your supportive tweets, it honestly means a lot to know that there are so many nice people out there. There’s not enough support available,infuriates me. Any physical illnesses are treated with urgency but not those affecting the mind.”
Mother to Lydia Bright from the show, Debbie, wrote to her: “Hope you are ok Maria. I’m always around for a cuppa if you ever need me. You take care of you and always remember your special,” and friend Nicola McLean added: “Thinking of
@MariaFowler today.” Get better soon!
