The wet wipe of ‘The Saturdays‘, Frankie Sandford, has only been bloody engaged for all of 5 minutes, and yet here she is again, making yet another announcement…she’s pregnant. She’ll be having the child of footballer Wayne Bridge, presumably at the end of 2013, and it will be her first child.
The pixie-haired singer tweeted: “Some big news from me today! Wayne and I are having a baby. We are both SO happy and can’t wait for his or hers arrival!” Her more outgoing bandmates joined in with the celebrations; Mollie: “Excited aunties!”, Vanessa: “Congrats to
@FrankieTheSats & Wayne on their big news!” Una: “So happy and excited for our @FrankieTheSats and Wayne‘s baby news!”
Is it just me or does a member of ‘The Saturdays‘ get hitched/ engaged/ pregnant every other week?
‘The Saturdays‘ blonde bombshell/ singer Mollie King is one of my favourite B list celebs at the moment, purely because she is so classy, and has such an endearing personality onscreen. It’s nice to read in March‘s issue of ‘Cosmopolitan‘ magazine that she maintains that level of poise with her relationships, and never sleeps with anyone she isn’t in a relationship with with regard to the beroom.
Mollie confessed: “I’ve never had a one-night stand or sex on the first date, and I don’t think I ever would. It’s important for a guy to know and understand me before he can even think about taking things to the next step. For me, the most attractive thing in a man is the ability to make me laugh. He has to be spontaneous, fun and able to banter – it’s not a job interview, it’s a date! I like day dates, and I like throwing the ball in his court.”
“I’m enjoying being single and I’m definitely not gagging to be in another relationship. When I go out, I’m not going out to find a man; I’m going out to dance the night away with my best friends. I want the fairy tale and I’m not going to settle for anything less.”
Blonde bombshell Mollie King had her very own ‘Pretty Woman‘ incident in LA earlier today. The singer, from British girl band ‘The Saturdays‘, was indulging in a spot of reality therapy when she was interrupted by one particularly bitchy sales assistant, who informed her that she couldn’t possibly afford an item from the store that she was in.
The store, whose name has yet to be released, suffered the wrath of Mollie on her Twitter page, although she did write about it in her usual dignified manner, posting: “Oh NO I’ve just had the ‘Pretty Woman‘ incident where they tell me I can’t afford anything in the shop. How long do I leave it before I walk back in with all my bags and say “BIG mistake. Huge!” ;-)” Bet they’ll feel like a bit of a twat considering she could probably buy half of the store, no problem…
Mollie King at the ‘Hennessy Gold Cup’
Mollie King from ‘The Saturdays‘ shone at this month’s ‘Hennessy Gold Cup‘ in Berkshire in a long-length burgundy coat, complete with leather look collar. She hung out with fellow celebrity Amanda Holden at the well-known polo event in the woolen ‘Sandro‘ creation, and you can bag a similar one thanks to ‘Missguided‘ for just £25.99!

Popular British girl group ‘The Saturdays‘ have signed their 1st US record deal. Their signing to ‘Island Def Jam‘ and ‘Mercury Records‘ will see them produce an album and single in January 2013 for their newly acquired American fanbase.
Una Healy told ‘Billboard‘ magazine: “We’ve been together a long time now, 5 years. We’re just starting fresh here. That’s what its about. We’ve always wanted to come out here and go to different territories. We really feel ready now.” My personal fave, Mollie King, added: “We’ve done 3 tours actually in the UK. Once we did an arena tour we thought, ‘Right. We’re cemented here at home. Let’s try to conquer the world starting off with America!'”
5 of the prettiest ladies in pop, ‘The Saturdays‘, are planning for their career to take off Stateside with a little help from a new TV project that they’re planning. During a routine radio interview with ‘Kiss FM‘ today, the girls (minus Una Healy) let slip that they are going head with plans to film a reality show pilot with all of the bandmates in America, which will be broadcasted by ‘E! Entertainment‘.
Mollie King said: “We’re going over to film a pilot basically, in a few weeks time. Hopefully, fingers crossed we’ll do a series documenting us hopefully cracking America.” Rochelle Wiseman told the show’s hosts: “We’re doing a pilot. We see if we like it and they like it. We’ve done a reality show before but this is going to be different because we’re not on home turf, we’re away.”
Mollie King has tried to calm the public’s excitement about the possibility of her dating a royal by denying being in a relationship with Prince Harry, who she has met up with several times in the last few weeks with friends. Her response to the questions from her fans was this: “Guys I’m getting a lot of tweets about Prince Harry but … I’m not dating him & we’re not in a relationship. We’re just friends.”
They met at a polo match in 2010, and their relationship has been on the up recently thanks to a string of parties together at ‘Public‘ nightclub and ‘Bunga Bunga‘ in London.
