Peter Andre‘s 23-year-old girlfriend Emily MacDonagh is pregnant with their first child together. The surprise pregnancy’s announcement comes just a couple of weeks after her graduation from Bristol University, where she studied to be a doctor, and graduated with honours. Woopsie! Something tells me this little one wasn’t planned…
Whilst I’m happy for the reality star after such a difficult year for him following the death of his brother, I can’t help but feel that a 17-year age gap is more than a little ridiculous. That’s like me now having a baby with a man my Dad’s age. So wrong. However, the pair seem pretty happy about it themselves, and there’s no denying that he’s already a pretty marvelous Dad.
He spilled the beans in his latest ‘New!‘ magazine column: “We were going to keep this to ourselves a little bit longer, but as everyone’s been asking, I am very happy to tell you that Emily and I are having a baby, and we are over the moon. Emily will make a brilliant mum. I always wanted to have six because I’m one of six, but I reckon if I had another two I’d be happy.”
Family man Peter Andre has invited her brother Andrew and his wife Magda to stay here in England with him, whilst he receives treatment for his recently diagnosed stomach cancer. Just 2 weeks ago he made the journey to Australia to see him, but he’s now decided that he wants to have a more active role in his recovery.
He told ‘new!’ magazine: “At the moment, my brother Andrew is recovering from his operations for his cancer, and the big news is in a couple of weeks he’s moving over to live with me with his wife Magda. They’re going to live with me and my other brothers Mike, Danny and Chris in my house and we’re going to look after him while he has treatment. My parents, who live in Australia, are nearly 80 and I really don’t want them to see Andrew going through the chemotherapy and all that stuff. My dad had such terrific treatment over here when he was ill last year, so he knows that it’s the best place for Andrew. I’m going to build a small extension onto my house so there’s room for everyone! It’s not definite they’re all going to move in, but at the moment that’s the plan. I need an extension so that when I’ve got the kids there will be room for all of us.”
Peter Andre has been persuaded by ‘ITV‘ producers to re-enter the Australian jungle for hit show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!‘, but this time for just a day.
He hinted that he might appear in the current series on Twitter last week, and is expected to visit the camp members to boost their morale.
“How would I feel about being dropped in the jungle? If it’s not to compete, I’m fine with it. Why not go in there and do a trial? I won’t jump out of a plane but I’ll have a go at anything else. It’s been emotional to return. I’ve been back to Australia since the jungle but never here. I’m looking forward to it, though. I’d definitely drop in there for a day or two to have some fun. The last time I came here I was single and I ended up walking out and getting married. This time I’m going to try to stay single,” he said.
Peter Andre opened his very first café yesterday in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
The ‘New York Coffee Club‘ is Pete‘s first culinary based project, and it has been decorated in a retro theme.
His ‘CAN‘ management pal Amy Childs, former star of ‘The Only Way Is Essex‘, came along to try a hot chocolate and cake.
“Wow what an amazing launch of ‘NYCC‘ thanks everyone that came to the launch. Hanging at home with @ginofantastico, @aldozilli and friends,” Pete tweeted afterwards.
Peter Andre has secretly been dating a 26-year-old backing dancer called Kristina Macmillan.
The pair worked together most recently last month in Egypt, and a couple of the dancer’s previous employees are ‘Take That‘ and ‘Grease‘ the musical.
Peter wrote in his new! magazine column last month: “I don’t want to say if it’s on or off as I just don’t know what I want. I could end up going on a date with her next week. Who knows?”
Last week Claire Powell of ‘CAN Associates’ dumped D-lister Kerry Katona from her books.
Kerry is clearly struggling to deal with the public humiliation, and ranted on Twitter: “Contrary to recent press reports, I was not ‘dumped’ by CAN Associates. It was my decision to leave, as on a professional level my career was taking a direction that I did not want, nor did I feel was appropriate. Furthermore on a personal level, I felt that my integrity had been compromised, as it was with Nicola Partridge before me. I have not taken any drugs in the last year and a half – and if anyone claims otherwise, I will sue without hesitation.”
It is thought that the reason for ‘CAN’ distancing themselves from Kerry is because she has started to regain her ‘bad girl’ image that Claire and co. have worked to hard to destroy over the last year. Her career picked up after participating in the ‘Dancing On Ice’ series earlier this year.
Kerry is said to have enjoyed one too many drinks on holiday in Marbs with her ‘TOWIE’ pals: “She was clearly out of control. She was trying to grope everyone and even went to the toilet with the door wide open. It wasn’t comfortable to watch her in that sort of state. At one point Kerry ended up vomiting. She did the same thing on a night out back in London this week. For a long time Claire had been drug testing Kerry on a fortnightly basis to ensure she was off drugs. But they both gave up because all Kerry wanted to do was go out and party.”
